Why it Matters

Most colour tattoos don't age the way you hope. Here's the difference.

You've probably seen it — a tattoo that looked incredible on day one, blown out and muddy five years later. The colours bled into each other. The detail dissolved. The structure collapsed.

That's not bad luck. That's a technique problem.

I've spent 18 years obsessing over one question: how do you build a colour tattoo that holds? The answer comes down to ink saturation, layering sequence, and understanding how your specific skin will carry the work long-term.

Every tattoo I create is built with that in mind — not just for the photo, but for the decade after it.

Step 01

Book Your Free Consultation

Online via Zoom (evenings available) or in-person consultation at my private studio in inner west Melbourne.

No reference images? It’s Okay. Just bring a rough idea. We'll work it out together.

Step 02

Design, Built With You

This isn't a “come back in two weeks and approve it" process. We build it together, in real time.

You're not waiting for a result, you're part of the process. Your references, your story, your instincts combined with my 18 years of experience.

Every idea gets an immediate response - sketched, adjusted, refined on the spot until it feels exactly right.

Step 03

Body Placement Simulation

Before any ink touches your skin, you'll see exactly how your tattoo will look on your body. I'll place a virtual render of your design onto your body so you can see the size, placement, and composition in real context before we commit to anything.

Then I'll transfer the blueprint directly onto your body via stencil or freehand, shaped to your individual body lines. Existing tattoos mapped around seamlessly.

We keep adjusting until it's right.

Step 04

The Session

Private room. Big screen TV - Netflix, YouTube, your playlist. Snacks and drinks provided. We work at your pace.

Every session is executed with techniques - minimal skin trauma, exact ink saturation for maximum colour vibrancy, layering built to hold..

Pain managed with a pharmacist-compounded prescription numbing gel for discomfort reduction.

Step 5

Aftercare, Sorted

You leave with small gift set including my hand-crafted vegan aftercare balm - formulated specifically for tattooed skin, using only natural, premium ingredients. No generic products. This is my own solution.

I'll walk you through exactly what to do, and you'll receive a detailed aftercare Video Guide.

Step 6

Built to Last

I don't disappear after your session. The work doesn't stop when you walk out. I monitor your healing progress until the tattoo is fully settled .

Offer complimentary touch-up sessions for up to 6 months post-session. So your tattoo doesn't just look good on the day one. It ages with you.

Meet Yuna

18 years. No shortcuts.

I've spent 18 years asking one question: how do you make a tattoo that still looks exceptional a decade later? The answer shaped everything about how I work — from the ink I choose to the way I hold the machine.

I specialise in colour realism and Korean Temple Art Dancheong. I was trained directly under Korean National Treasure Temple Art Master.

My studio is private, my process is collaborative, and I only take on work I believe in.

Based in Melbourne. Available for guest spots across Australia and International.

Spots are limited each month.

I take a set number of bookings to ensure every client gets my full attention.

It's Free, No Commitment

Got a Question?

  • t depends on placement and session length.

  • Completely fine. i’m specialising in cover up works. i can cover it up with high contrast. it doesn’t have to be big bold black.

im also specialised in white tattoo on black arm

  • Yes, but it requires care. Scar tissue behaves differently — it can be thinner, thicker, or more sensitive than surrounding skin. Depending on the scar, it may need two or three layered sessions to build colour properly. We'll assess it together in the consultation.
